Then... You have arrived at the right place! For decades, the Development sector has used conventional teaching methods. However, times are changing, the world is moving ahead from Conventional teaching methodology to Facilitative practices. And, our two days 'UNBOUND- Art of Facilitation' is the perfect workshop to learn practical tools and techniques of facilitative teaching, while working with varied target audiences. It is now time to change our approach and become more participative in nature, where our participants would have equal power over the training space and will be free to share their ideas, opinions and beliefs. Our workshop is hands-on learning on how to make your spaces more learner-friendly. Who could attend: - NGO Representatives, working with children - School/ Tuition teachers - Trainers - Parents What will you learn: - What is facilitation? - Difference between teaching and facilitating. - Methods and approaches to participatory facilitation. - Practical tips and techniques to encourage participation. - Assessment of your personal facilitation skills. About the facilitator: Ms. Siddhi Gheewala, is a co-founder of a consulting agency "UNBOUND- Building perspectives from Unlearning to Relearning." She is a development professional, working in the field of child rights and well-being. She has worked as a facilitator for the last 6 years with young people and their adult stakeholders. Siddhi has expertise in developing experimental and experiential training modules. She is an ex-Tissian, studied MA in Social Work, Mental Health. She has been part of the organizing committee of Children as Actors for Transforming Society (CATS), Asia 2018 and since then she works as a volunteer for Child Rights in Action (CRIA).
